Gleaners is hosting their first annual 104.3 WOMC Radiothon to benefit Gleaners. One Brick volunteers will be answering phones from 6-8pm, accepting donations from radiothon listeners! The phone bank (and the broadcast!) will take place at the Detroit Distribution Center.  Meals will be provided!  Yummy!

Gleaners will have the phones there for us and all calls will be incoming so there will be NO "cold calling!"  :)  Join One Brick to support Gleaners in their effort to keep Detroit fed!!!  For more information on how you could donate to the cause, please see the following link:  http://www.gcfb.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pg_womcradiothon

Organization: Gleaners Community Food Bank

For more than 33 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "nourishing communities by feeding hungry people.” Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 36 million pounds of emergency food to over 484 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 96 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor. Gleaners Community Food Bank is a 501 (c) 3 organization. http://www.gcfb.org
